This week is just as busy as any other. We’ve all been working hard to stay on task so that we can be prepared for the Milwaukee Regional. Not just that, but our Open House is coming up next week!
The Open House for RoboRiot, Bond Brigade, and Red Raider will be Thursday, March 12th at 4:30 PM. A change for this year’s Open House is the change of venue. Curt G. Joa, Inc. will be hosting us this year instead of Kohler. The address for Curt G Joa. is 100 Crocker St, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085. RoboRiot students should arrive at 4:00 PM and the Open House will begin at 4:30 PM and go until 6:00 PM. All parents, students, and prospective robotics members are welcome to join us.
In order to be prepared for the Open House and our Regionals, we have a lot of work to do. Our intake on The Lemon Zester needs some serious reworking, and the Fabrication and Cad teams have been spending all their free time figuring out the best method to solve our zesty problem. They have, however, been able to improve our climber even further. Now, The Zester can not only climb but can also roll along the Generator Switch. Programming has gotten a chance to take a look at the robot and make sure that everything is working as it should be.
As the Regional nears, RoboRiot is getting antsy. The Zester is almost ready, and we’re rarin’ to go.
