Who We Are

RoboRiot is a FIRST Robotics Competition Team based out of Sheboygan County, WI. RoboRiot team 3418 was founded in 2009 and continues to grow. The program is a non-profit and offers high school students from 9th-12th grades a chance to learn skills such as CAD, Design, Welding, CNC Manufacturing, Programming, and Marketing. We meet year round but our preseason and  build season goes from October though April.  Our team competes annually in regional competitions, including Northern Lights Competition in Duluth, MN, Wisconsin Regional Competition in Milwaukee, WI, and the Seven Rivers Competition in Lacrosse, WI, alongside other teams worldwide.

Testimonies

"Being apart of robotics for me opened many doors. I was able to try new things and learn what I wanted to do when I went to college. I learned new skills and was able to meet new people. For the 4 years I was apart of the team I was able to get into a leadership position, which later helped me in the Army Reserves. All the skills I learned has helped me so much and will continue to help me throughout my life".

-Olivia Blaha

"When I joined RoboRiot I was unsure what I wanted to do after high school. The experience and opportunity RoboRiot gave me helped me to decide my career path after I graduated".

-Kaden Beltran

"RoboRiot taught me many valuable skills such as time management, organization, and leadership along with much more. I use all these skills everyday and I am so glad that RoboRiot could help me grow these skills".

- Elizabeth Manthey

With no idea what I wanted to do for my career, robotics helped open my eyes to how fun STEM can be. It made me realize how much I enjoy designing and creating. It also helped me become a lot more social and taught me how to talk to others and become a leader. Truly a life changing experience.
